American Book Award winner, Reyna Grande, will share her journey from being an undocumented immigrant to a successful published author and will speak about her immigrant experiences, her multiple books and the importance of Mexican Americans reclaiming and reframing history. Grande will invite the community to a free celebration and bilingual (English and Spanish) discussion of her new book release in Spanish, “Corrido de Amor y Gloria,” on Oct. 3 at Libélula Books & Co. in Barrio Logan.
