Previously, Erik continued the story of Version 3: "Lore of the Ancient Dragon". For the Version 3.1 storyline "Liberator of the Flame Story", he climbed Featherias Mountain in the northwest of the Valley of Fire. There, he helped Estella light the Torch of Offering with Flamia's fire. He then explored the southern part of the Valley of Fire on the way to the Fire Tower. Back in Astoltia, he received another batch of Gift Card prizes. He used an Express Metal Ticket to access the Metal Maze, where he decimated some Metal Slime variants. Then, he dismantled a pair of Uberkilling Machines in the Magic Maze. He played a game of Bingo at the Luckland Casino. Finally, he visited Verinard's Accessory Shop for a little accessory synthesis. Now, Erik will climb the Fire Tower in the southwest of the Valley of Fire.
