Ducati Hyperstrada / Hypermotard 821 - Quest to Get a Spare Replacement Key - Part 2 of 2

The 2015 Ducati Hyperstrada is the touring version of the Ducati Hypermotard. 821 cc, liquid-cooled V-twin found in both the Hypermotard and the Monster 821. The Ducati dealers wanted $300+ USD for a new (or another) key for my bike... so I decided to try and find a less expensive alternative if one exists.

This is my search and research into finding an extra key for my Ducati. It only came with one original black key when I purchased it. So I would very much like to have a spare key "just in case"! This is the somewhat unexpected ending of this quest. At least for now.

Spoiler:
The Bad - USPS lost (or it may have been stolen out of the Priority USPS box) my only key.
The Good - The company that I was working with made me two keys at no 'additional' charge.
