Los totems naturales son considerados uno de los espectáculos naturales más importante del norte de Neuquén, la inmensidad del paisaje se haya sobre el valle del río Varvarco, observándose a lo lejos picos nevados de la cordillera y el sistema Domuyo.

Los Bolsillos son un conjunto de formaciones rocosas que impacta por sus formas erosionadas por la acción del viento, se pueden distinguir conos, domos y agujas con variedad de tonos que van desde el amarillo hasta los rojizos, pueden llegar a medir más de 15 metros de altura, dentro de dicho conjunto se destaca una serie de bloques de piedra alineados, llamados «Los Monjes». La zona más baja de las rocas fue erosionada por la acción del viento y la arena, si van con tiempo, se podrán aprovechar un trekking por el lugar y disfrutar del valle del río Varvarco.

Para llegar, se entra a través de la Ruta Nacional Nº 40 en dirección al norte de la provincia hasta la ciudad de Chos Malal, a continuación, se toma la Ruta Provincial Nº 43, pasando por la localidad de Las Ovejas, y así acceder por último a la localidad de Varvarco. Desde ahí se sigue por el camino de ripio durante 15 kilómetros, y a su izquierda están Los Bolillos, con una huella vehicular y un sendero sin señalizar que permite recorrerlos.

Si se buscan alternativas para quedarse, Varvarco y Manzano Amargo son buenos lugares para hospedarse, contando siempre con bebidas y comida, y chequear con anticipación el estado de las rutas antes de iniciar la recorrida.
