Many Christians struggle to find their purpose while searching in isolation, but God designed our purpose to be lived out in community with other believers. According to 1 Corinthians 12:12, we are all members of one body in Christ, and our spiritual gifts are meant to serve one another, not ourselves. Western culture promotes rugged individualism, but Scripture emphasizes community through comforting, edifying, and bearing one another's burdens. Before we can be in true community with others, we must first be in community with God. Our purpose isn't hiding from us—it's right in front of us, waiting to be embraced within God's family.
