This is the end of year World Records compilation for Mario Kart DS, 2021 edition. A special annual video created to recap the last 12 months of intense record-breaking and community effort. These records all take advantage of shortcuts and an advanced technique called PRB (Prolonged Rocket Boost) to achieve the best possible times.

All time trial records in this video compilation are legitimate and performed on real Nintendo DS/3DS hardware - as verified by staff and community members from the Mario Kart DS Players' Page. There is no use of cheat codes, or external hardware such as an Action Replay when setting these records.

NOTE: I was not able to retrieve the ghost data for Cheep Cheep Beach and GBA Sky Garden in order to re-record, hence why there is no input viewer for those tracks, having to use the original upload instead.

The GCN Mushroom Bridge record by Taiga was achieved on the 29th of December. When I was rendering this video, he improved it to a 1'09"103 and by that point I didn't have enough time to ask for his save file, record the run and edit it into the project timeline.
