Pension Scheme for Private Secor: सरकार ने एकीकृत पेंशन योजना (UPS) को मंजूरी दे दी है, जिसके बारे में उनका कहना है कि इससे करीब 23 लाख सरकारी कर्मचारियों को लाभ मिलेगा। नई योजना 1 अप्रैल, 2025 से लागू होगी। राष्ट्रीय पेंशन योजना (NPS) के अंतर्गत आने वाले सरकारी कर्मचारियों के पास इसे जारी रखने या नई योजना चुनने का विकल्प होगा और उन्हें काफी अधिक लाभ मिलेगा - लेकिन निजी क्षेत्र के कर्मचारियों के लिए यह सुविधा इतनी आसान नहीं है।

The government has approved the Unified Pension Scheme (UPS), which they say will benefit around 23 lakh government employees. The new scheme will come into force from April 1, 2025. The government employees covered under National Pension Scheme (NPS) will have choice to continue with it or opt for the new scheme and will have significantly larger benefits - but for the private sector employees, the treat isn't so sweet.
