How Ride Restraints are Designed

Ride restraints come in many different shapes and sizes and can be as simple as a door or seat belt. Many rides use a combination of different restraint types to safely secure riders. Today well be taking a deep dive into the different types of restraints used on rides today, as well as the history of ride restraints in general. We'll also be looking official guidelines for restraint design and how they affect the rides you enjoy.
