Outer Wrap first piece
Cut a strip on short edge at 1 1/2’ to make a long strip, this makes on piece of the outside of the box wrap
score at 1 5/8', 4 6/8', 7 7/8' and 11.**
Boxes
Cut at 6 1/2’ on short side, rotate 90 degrees and cut on long side at 9’.
On short side, score at 1 1/2’, 3’, 4 1/2’, and 6’
Then on long side cut every 2 1/4’ to make 4 pieces the same size.
you then need to score each piece at 1 1/2' on the short edge.
Outer Wrap second piece
Cut a final strip 1 1/2' by 6 1/4'
score at 3 1/4'
DSP
The square boxes are each 1 1/4’ square, and if you cover each square you will need 19!
The outside areas are 2 3/4‘ by 1 1/4’ - and you will need a min of 4.


EDIT
**A4 in the UK is 8.3 inch (210mm) by 11.7 inch (297mm), so when you do the last score at 11 inches on the long strip it leaves you with the 0.7inch to use as the bit to glue the shorter strip on to. To counter this in the USA you could make the shorter strip a little longer as you have enough card to do this. Cut a final strip 1 1/2' by 6 1/2”
score at 3 1/4' and then at 6 1/4’ to leaves small tab.

You could of course use 12*12 to cut the pieces and make something lovely with the left over that you have.
