cvp manometer pressure means Right atrium pressure.The CVP normal range (8-12 ) cmH²O.
** Fluid management
12 ↑ :-fluid over load , Heart failure or dysfunction.
12 ↓:- Hypovolemia, fluid deficiency.
when,we measure The CVP -
Hypovolemic/ Hemorrhagic shock, cardiogenic shock or septic shock, severe burns, pulmonary edema, plural effusion, Heart failure (LVF)....etc
position:- supine, then mid-axillary line .
