Canada's annual Remembrance Day ceremony was held at the National War Museum in Ottawa to commemorate the nation's war veterans and fallen soldiers.
Dignitaries included the prime minister, the governor general, and the Silver Cross Mother, who represents the mothers of fallen soldiers.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said in a statement that paying tribute to those who have served the nation on Remembrance Day is not just a tradition, but an obligation.
"Today, we honour the Canadians who served and defended our country. We share their stories of undaunted bravery. We remember," he said.
This year's events featured a full Veterans’ March, 'Last Post,' two minutes of silence, a 21-gun salute, and wreath placements.
