Let's face it the gong is a pain in the ass, when you first come across it. Why does it play contray to the cymbals. It seems to defy logic, in these videos I will use a clear method of counting to get in time with drum.
This is a primer rather than a comprehensive and I hope to show you how to pinpoint the exact location of the gong strikes in a future video.
