Frenuloplasty has to be done if any patient has short/tight frenulam. ; if phymosis is present, then at the same time circumcision is also done.

Will circumcision decrease this hyper sensitivity of my gland / glans penis?
Circumcision will remove the foreskin covering over gland / glans penis, thus gradually the hypersensitivity will decrease.

It is painful surgery?
Is it done under General or Local Anesthesia?
The surgery is done under painless condition because under topical anesthesia by applying numbing ointments over the penis and by injecting numbing medicines around the base of penis.

When will you release the patient?
3-4 hours. Once there is no pain is subsided; and patient has urinated, the patient is released.

What is the recovery time?
How many days we have to be in bed rest?
How many days we have to absence in office?
As such complete bed rest is not required and patients can all house hold activities; however, patient may take 3 days leave form work/office. Complete recovery by 10-14 days.

Is there any issue of sensitivity after circumcision?
How many days it take to normalize the glance sensitivity?
It takes about 4-6 weeks for sensitivity to decrease.

After how many days sex / masturbation can be done?
After 6 weeks masturbation / sexual activities can be done. We advice patients use condoms / lubricating gel for next 3 months during intercourse.
