The BimmerFix N62 and N73 Coolant Pipe Repair System made by BimmerFix is made for cars and SUVs with an N62 or N73 designed to stop a common antifreeze leak in vehicles equipped with an N62 V8 engine. These vehicles include the Alpina, BMW X5, 745i, 745Li, 750i, 750Li, 645ci, 650i, 545i and 550i. Other vehicles with the N62 V8 or N73 engine include Morgan Aero, Rolls-Royce, and Wiseman GT.
With the BimmerFix system, you only need to remove the water pump to stop the common "weep hole" leak that is located at the front of the engine, just to the left side of the water pump.
You do not need to remove the intake manifold or the valley pan. You do not need to install a collapsible pipe.
