Can't lie this song was super fun to do LOL though it was made in a relatively short timeframe! The original draft of this song was inspired by the artist "Wishlane" but i highkey didn't mess with what i had cooked up initially so i started makin the inst for this instead and everyone liked it so it stuck! The bpm is 96 to match the character but it has a feel of 192, and theres a time signature change from 4/4 to 6/8 at about 1:40. I might end up nerding out about the composition of the instrumental if i do an instrumental upload cuz i incorporated some cool stuff i've learned at college recently!! this song makes heavy use of extended dominants and some interesting voice leading i did on the chords in order to give a specific feeling of "weird" that i wanted this song to have.. and i think it worked well!! HUUUUGEEE SHOUTOUT to niff for doing these vocals cuz mannnn theyre so good. Literally perfectly understood the assignment and did all of those vocals by ear too without a guide for the chord changes which is just super cool to me... thank u griffin for takin on the vocals for this song, it wouldnt be the same without u!!!!!

also shoutout to my buddy matt for recording the guitar scrape sounds that i sampled here! i broke into his room and plugged his guitar up to my interface and ate his popcorn and left
