Track 10 — The Black Lantern Guild — “The Voidmaker’s Crown”
The battleground dissolves,
leaving us upon a precipice
between worlds.
The breach glows,
a wounded sun
that refuses to die.
The Lantern hovers,
dim but alive.
The Warden speaks first:
“We have shattered gods
and broken fates…
but who guards the world
from what waits between?”
We all know the answer.
Us.
Oath in ash…
oath in night…
oath to flame
without a light.
We kneel —
not to a god,
not to the Lantern,
but to the duty
chosen freely.
The flame bows to us in turn.
The Last Oath is spoken:
“We hold the breach.
We guard the line.
No crown shall rule.
No void shall dine.
We are the Guild —
who walk between.
Whatever comes…
we stand unseen.”
The breach pulses like a heartbeat.
The void retreats.
The dead suns dim in peace.
We rise,
Lantern in hand,
shadows long and resolute.
The Black Lantern Guild
turns back toward the world —
forever changed,
forever bound,
forever walking
the scar between creation
and the dark.
