HG Holden Premier Gets EXTREME Performance Upgrade for Restoration

Today we are interviewing Chris about his 1971 HG Holden Premier that we had for over 16 years now. He first got this in Bunbury off the previous owner and it was full poppy spec and factory standard specifications, with a 186 Holden Engine, Tri-matic gearbox and the original holden diff. The body is pretty much how he got 16 years ago but he believes it may have been resprayed in past life before him. He got the HG Holden Premier as he needed a daily driver for work and getting around the traps which we did for 6 years.

Then he started to collect parts from marketplace, gumtree and other locations to gather all the parts he wanted to the restoration as per he's specs. He managed to get all the parts and started doing up the mechanical components of the HG Holden. Now he is in two minds at present, the responsible Chris is saying spent the money on Panel, Paint and Rust repairs, however, the yahoo side of Chris thinks he should continue the upgrade of engine performance. This include a Supercharger for the 308 V8 Engine with the stage 2 tri matic gearbox with the 10 bolt diff. The supercharger is winner so far at the moment.

As far as the interior, most of it is original in the HG Holden such as the hood lining, door trims and others but he added a few parts like HQ centre console and Dan has retrimmed bucket seats for Chris. However, this one stunning HG Holden Premier, even without the paint and body in perfect condition.

Now Chris also has a lot of collectables in his mancave area, however, his Car BBQ is awesome and it looks like the HG Holden Premier he is driving.
