We’re celebrating two huge moments today, the launch of the Super Mario Galaxy 1 + 2 remake for Nintendo Switch 1 and 2, and the start of the Super Mario Bros. 40th Anniversary celebrations!

We kicked things off at the Nintendo South Africa store in Sandton City Mall, Johannesburg 🇿🇦, before jumping straight into a full hour of gameplay from both Super Mario Galaxy 1 and Super Mario Galaxy 2, captured on the Switch 2 in glorious HD.

No commentary here, just pure, clean Mario magic. Perfect for anyone wanting to relive those incredible opening moments, compare how both games feel on the new system, or just soak in the nostalgia.
