Saalbach, Bergstadl Trail 26-07-2024

Got my rear brake fixed halfway during he day, so I finally trusted it enough to go down this trail again.
Still filming on my GF's Gopro 5, still didn't clean the sh*t off the lens apparently...

Very nice trail, I don't think anything changed since I was last here years ago, unless I count the blocked off shortcut almost at the ending.
It went better than last time, having ridden some parts I wasn't able to do before, like roll straight over the boulder in the shadowy part where the guys were alll standing still to look at it before riding it (which is good idea!), and taking the left line into the ditch around the 8:30 mark.
I did have to push a few times on the flatter part before that though, because I wasn't really used to using my first dropperpost and the gearing of the 1X12 drivetrain, so I missed the timings of shifting and using the dropper and lost speed.

Also, somehow this time the trail was infested with hikers that didn't follow regulations, also letting the dog walk around with no leash, and people with entirely wrong bikes for this type of trail and had to walk a lot of it. So if you plan to ride here be ready to stop on a dime if you don't want to hit anyone!

Pretty sure I could have filmed a better run if I did it again, but had no time for that anymore so here we go!
