I found "Chumarius" under the tire of a truck a couple years ago as he was just learning to fly. It took only a couple of days before he trusted me, and this video was shot just a week after bringing him into my home. Video shows our deep bond, as he plays with my phone and tries to protect me from a perceived threat of my ex-g/f who was visiting. Magpies are truly magnificent birds!
