111th JOG Operation Circum-Pacific War #12 (Arma 3 X Ace Combat)

Situation
Our progress in Farabad is proceeding smoothly, albeit not as fast as Command wants. After only 2 days of fighting we were able to nearly surround the city, however the yukes still control the northern passage into the mountains, prevent a total encirclement. We tried to close down the pocket, however we received heavy resistance coming from both the areas of Awena Reservoir and Eastern Farabad city. The situation in eastern side of the city is particularly difficult.

It appears that the yuke position in the city were more complex than we anticipated. The enemy deployed mortars and accurate AT fire, with which they were able to stop our advance alongside the highway. OJOG has been tasked with clearing the enemy positions.

Mission
We will assault and destroy designated hostile positions within the city in order to enable the maneuver of friendly forces on the northern flank through the highway. To infiltrate the city you will use a canal leading into the city, slipping right under the enemy positions and avoiding the southern minefields. Watchtower recommends using the riverbed to move close undetected, since our snipers have the enemy suppressed along the banks.

Once inside the city, push north clearing out each objective located within the Central park, Victory monument, parade Grounds and finally the Presidential Palace. This will be an infantry only mission since our air assets cannot risk getting close to the city due to Yuke AA and MANPADS. So remember to stock up on ammo since resupply will be hard to come by.
Objectives
OBJ Matkovic
Find and Destroy 2 yuke mortar positions. they are made up of 2-3 mortar pits. We dont have an exact location on them since they keep relocating.
Find and destroy enemy AAA positions.
OBJ Cole
A Yuke Infantry Platoon has set up position within the city blocks and is acting as QRF. It is imperative you destroy it, lest it will flank you.
OBJ Montes
the enemy has a VTOL base in the parade grounds, to get rid of all yuke air support in the area it is imperative that we capture it and destroy all parked planes.
OBJ Solomon
The Presidential Palace has direct view over the highway, it also serves as a Forward Command Post. You need to capture it. (You will be able to access the building proper).

The enemy might get reinforcements from the city proper, however a distraction by the 1st Marine Recon should keep the enemy occupied.
