In 2008, I started to work into a new company, a german one, and somewhere into a storage cabinet, in the middle of papers, there was a pile of CDs, and I found this one: "Das Jugendjazzorchester Der Bundesrepublik Deutschland - BuJazzO" released with the sponsorship of a previous company. It's obiously a real gem, full of very good versions of jazz standards, including this track written by Dizzy Gillespie, A Night In Tunisia, a very groovy adaptation!
For the last video before holidays, I had lot of fun to play on it, and I wish you will enjoy as well!
And last but not least, it's the very first recording with my new bass handmade by Sébastien Aquilina, a luthier based at Saint-Armel close to Rennes in France: it's an Aquilina - Shelby 5 strings, and lefty of course. It sounds so beautiful...
