Interview featuring members of the 18th St. Almighty Ambrose, “Jimbo A” and “Alkie A.” It was filmed in January 1990 at Manuel Perez Jr. Plaza, located at 26th St. and Kolin. “Alkie A” later died in 1996, and “Jimbo A” in 2009. In the interview, they discuss their experiences of harassment by the Chicago Police, including instances where they were picked up by the police and subsequently dropped off in neighborhoods controlled by rival gangs, suggesting that the police intended for them to be harmed. Notice this video was filmed in K-Town Two-Six hood back when the Almighty Ambrose hung nearby, due to a stabbing incident with a sword at a Two-Six party several years later, the Almighty Ambrose were kicked out from this hood. The final two minutes of the footage feature local skateboarders testing out their wooden ramps at the plaza.
