HOW TO DO THIS HIKE YOURSELF -

HOW DO I GET PERMITS?
Permits are required for each night, and campsites are limited
( Can either apply at the start of the permit season online. ) Or visit the visitor center and apply for in person, first-come, serve at the Wilderness and permit office.

WHEN TO HIKE THIS?
I hiked mid May. Not very hot, springs were flowing, and great weather.

HOW MANY NIGHTS? -
3 nights was pretty comfortable, but with some long days.
4 nights if you want plenty of time and fewer miles

WATER SOURCES?
Each day has at least one spring. Depending on the flow, it might be at the end or the beginning of the day
Call the visitor station to check on the current status of the springs

WAG BAGS ARE REQUIRED
