Exploring Penang Little India's Thali NR Sweets Cafe & A Busy Day!
This weekend started early as Ailsa had her First Holy Communion preparations, including her first confession and rehearsal in the morning. While she was busy, it was just Naomi and me left to decide on lunch since Isaac was in the hospital recovering from the flu. Naomi picked a delightful vegetarian spot in Penang’s Little India: Thali NR Sweets Cafe & Vegetarian Restaurant on Lebuh Penang.
The cafe was clean, inviting, and filled with the aroma of freshly prepared dishes. We ordered our favorite Ghee Masala Thosai and a Poori Set. Naomi also wanted to try something new, so we got the intriguing Kashmiri Roti Canai. The food was fantastic, and we paired it with a variety of teas, which perfectly complemented the meal.
Afterward, we visited Isaac at Adventist Hospital and were relieved to see him doing much better. In fact, he was discharged later that evening! It was a busy but fulfilling day, and we’re hoping for a relaxing Sunday to wrap up the weekend.
