The power of our words. Focusing on the authority we have been given through Jesus!

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭18‬:‭21‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The book of Proverbs is traditionally attributed to King Solomon.

God made us in His image, and what did He do at the beginning in Genesis, He spoke all creation into existence, apart from Us who He formed with His hands, but that’s a whole other conversation.

“Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1‬:‭3‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1‬:‭26‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“Then the Lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground. He breathed the breath of life into the man’s nostrils, and the man became a living person.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭2‬:‭7‬ ‭NLT‬‬

James 3:10 NLT 
And so blessing and cursing come pouring out of the same mouth. Surely, my brothers and sisters, this is not right! 

Jesus said-
“A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart. What you say flows from what is in your heart.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭6‬:‭45‬ ‭NLT‬‬

♥️What you say flows from your heart.

♥️ How do you get your heart right, you meditate on the Word of God you spend time in prayer, you ask Holy Spirit to highlight any areas that need His work on, one big on being unforgiveness.

“Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭4‬:‭23‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The devil is very aware of the power of our words that’s why he whispers lies to us so we can use or own authority against ourselves and others, I don’t know about you but I don’t want to do the devil’s job for him.

Mark 11:23 NKJV
For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, “Be removed and be cast into the sea,” and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
