Here I have ASR problem with my 91 500SL. Since repair ASR problem never showed up again. This early system has no diagnostic capabilities and each component has to be tested manually according to vehicle diagrams. In this video I had problem with potentiometer. In part 2 video I have potentiometer internals shown and repaired.
