In this SPEEDRUN EXPLAINED, I break down how the world record holder for Resident Evil 2 (2019), Frit, beats the game in 51 minutes. Straight up, this game is incredible, and in my opinion, so is the speedrun. This is a relatively easy route to follow, with a very high skill ceiling for shaving off time in the margins. The route of course includes things like Frit's masterful ability to manipulate and avoid enemies, movement tech like stair skating and quick turning, precise angles when fighting bosses, and much more. Hopefully this video might inspire some of you out there to try your hand at speedrunning this masterpiece of a game.
