4 day/3 night Bike Packing trip in beautiful NW Michigan with as much off road as I could find including Sand Lakes Quiet Area, VASA Trail and Crystal Lookout area in Manistee National Forest. Some rainy riding and camping and a lot of blue skies and clear waters. I ride a loaded Surly ICT fat bike with 50 pounds of gear. Leelanau Trail, Tart Trail, North Country Trail, White Pine Trail and Pere Marquette Rail Trail were also part of the journey.
Overall the bike packing set-up worked well. The sleeping bag was a bad choice and the fishing gear needs improvement.
