SHUTDOWN COMING? Prepping the Ventrac for the Storm of the Decade! Part 2

The models are locked in, and SE Pennsylvania is right in the crosshairs. With Winter Storm Fern already paralyzing the Deep South, it’s heading up the coast, and they’re calling for a total SHUTDOWN here in PA.

The Storm hits the Keystone State: We’re used to snow in Pennsylvania, but this system is different. It’s tapping into massive Gulf moisture and slamming into the arctic air sitting right over Chester County and the surrounding areas. We’re looking at heavy accumulation, high winds, and a mess that’s going to keep everyone off the roads. When the local authorities start talking about shutdowns, you know it’s time to get the serious equipment out.

The Secret Weapon: Ventrac 4520 I’m not taking any chances with this one. In this video, I’m in the shop getting the Ventrac 4520 and the KX523 Snowblower attachment dialed in. I’m making sure we are 100% ready to clear the way once the flakes stop falling. If you’ve been following the channel, you know what this machine can do—but this storm might be its biggest challenge yet. (Not really...this machine battled the deep snows of the Far North near Houlton Maine!)
