Last Saturday I visited Skansen, which is an open-air museum with historical buildings and also a zoo where you can see Nordic wildlife like reindeer, moose, bears, lynx, and arctic foxes, and also there is a Baltic sea aquarium with indigenous fish.
There are also some exotic animals like monkeys, lemurs and an also snake, crocodiles, turtles and frogs.
The staff working in the park walks around wearing traditional clothes explaining about the various historic buildings. There also is a market square where you can buy handcrafted items and food like Swedish waffles.
In the urban area there are also historical shops, a pottery shop, a historical pharmacy and a glass factory.
