40 Biggest NEW FEATURES in Ark Valguero Ascended

Ark Valguero Ascended just dropped, and this remaster brings way more than a visual upgrade. In this video, I break down 40 of the biggest new features added to Valguero in Ark Survival Ascended (that I could find) from massive biome overhauls to new creatures, structures, and boss fights. The map looks incredible, feels smoother, and finally fixes a ton of what held the original Valguero back.

Explore the revamped Chalk Hills, now greener, denser, and filled with new ruins and golden statues. Venture into the Aberration zone with brighter visuals, better gem and resource spawns, and new creature additions like Rock Drakes, Reapers, and Nameless, making underground life actually worth exploring. You’ll even find collectible black pearls, polymer flowers, and some of the best loot drops in the entire map.

On the surface, the Tundra biome and Wyvern Trench look completely transformed, with new lighting, Pyromane spawns, and prebuilt fortresses that make for amazing PvE base spots. Smaller details like underwater crystal expansions, statue landmarks, and boosted resource distribution make Valguero Ascended feel richer and more alive than ever.

Ark Ascended also introduces two new creatures: the Megaraptor (a fast solo hunter tame) and the Elderclaw, a shielded support creature with crowd control and buff totems. Add in the new Grendel boss fight, Grendel flag, and trophy rewards, and you’ve got one of the most satisfying ASA remasters to date.
