There are a couple reasons you may want to upgrade your R4 AC compressor to a Sanden.
It may have an outdated version of refrigerant, it's a 30-year-old system, and R4s are known to leak.
We've designed an adapter bracket that allows you to mount a Sanden Mini compressor in the same location as the original R4. Further, our AC hose kits come with a trinary switch which gives you a high and low pressure switch for the compressor. It also gives you the flexibility to add electric fans. Finally, our hoses come with both SAE and metric fittings to make sure you're receiving a bolt-on solution.
