DIY FARMHOUSE SHUTTERS | INDOOR WINDOW SHUTTERS | DIY AND SAVE

Today, I am sharing DIY FARMHOUSE SHUTTERS for the interior of my windows. Average costs for these can range from $79 to 180 per window. Which could cost as must as $540 dollars. I built these for less than half of that. ( you can save even more depending on your hardware. That is why my cost was more. I chose an expensive hinge bracket )


This was not hard to do. A little time consuming, but I love the end result! ENJOY!

Materials Needed for Project:

1x3 (for the small pieces holding the larger pieces together)
1x4
(these sizes are completely up to your taste and window size. This is just what I used for my own preferences)

-Miter saw (hand or electric)( OR, you can take your measurements to you local Home Improvement retailer and they can cut it for you)
