School governing bodies have welcomed the efforts made by government to recognise sign language an official language. National Association of School Governing Bodies at Sizwile School for the Deaf says this will go a long way in ensuring that children are treated equally. They are urging parents to take this opportunity to learn sign language. Newzroom Afrika's Ziniko Mhlaba has the details.
