Mario Odyssey but moons TELEPORT me!

I'm attempting to beat Super Mario Odyssey BUT every moon that I collect, teleports Mario to a completely random area in the game. The only problem is, the Odyssey doesn't come with him! Our goal is to get enough moons kin every kingdom, bring the Odyssey to the moon, and defeat Bowser!
