Dr. Camille Taylor’s National School Gospel Choir Competitions
Middle School Division
Dr. Taylor’s last competition year was 2009. He subsequently died and the over 20 year legacy was not continued.
There were four divisions; Elementary, Middle, High School and College/ University. Friday morning was elementary and middle school. Friday night was high school and Saturday night was the college/ university competition. Please note, these were school gospel choirs that competed in 13 categories. Competition time was about 20 minutes.
I hesitated to put up these clips due to the audio quality however I know that there are those out there who participated in these events and do not have a copy of the videos. I heavily processed the audio. Enjoy
Note: I processed this batch differently. For these videos I kept the 480X640 VHS format and I used an S-VHS cable with my Elgato Video Capture USB. The quality seems better than the previous VHS to Digital attempts. Feel free to offer your opinion.
