Is it worth buying? Subaru WRX 2023 review (sedan and Sportswagon)

The Subaru WRX is one of the best-known nameplates in the car world. But is the new one any good?

In this review, you'll learn that the current-generation 2023 Subaru WRX is a bit of a mixed bag when it comes to the 'buy it now' factor.

Some of the big issues it has is that you can't buy a Sportswagon (wagon) version of the WRX with a manual transmission. And if you want a manual transmission, then you need to be okay with missing out on potentially life-saving safety technology.

The sedan is available in a few different trim levels and has the option of a six-speed manual gearbox, but the CVT auto is the one you need if you want the best suspension available in the range, too...

What it all boils down to is a case of "choose wisely" when it comes to the new WRX. And we haven't even got to the fact that it has a bigger engine but somehow less power than most rivals...
