Way before I started getting requests to remix this one, I tried. I remember I first heard it when I moved in with my brother who had moved into a house with a friend whose grandma passed on. There were four bedrooms and they needed one more to help out so I said yes.

It turned into a college frat house! The fun and craziness they created helped me through a big change in my life. One night, they invited just about everyone from the college they were attending so I went out and came back around five AM and the party was over. It was a shambles. Did I forget to mention that we could live in the house rent free until they sold it?

At 7AM there was a call on the house line that recorded the message from the real estate agent was coming by in a half hour for a viewing. To tell the truth I was just as hungover as the others in the house. Suddenly I snapped awake and in a panic I tried to wake the others which did not work, so I closed the doors to the bedrooms since my bro and his friends each had an overnight date in their rooms.

The bell rang and I stumbled down to let them in and warned them about the party last night and not to open the bedroom doors that were closed. I let the agent lead them through and we went upstairs last. Groggy with the walk of shame and alcohol I stumbled along and as we were leaving the floor, the prospective buyer man saw that one of the bedroom doors had not closed properly and could be pushed open. So he did with one finger.

I was standing to his right while he was opening the door and the view from our angle was of of the bed and the wall behind it. My bro's friend was passed out naked under a bit of sheet, but his girlfriend was on her back of the side closer to the door, spread eagled, with her big boobs for all to see. He quickly closed the door and I could not contain my laughter. I said I was sorry but I did warn them. They stoically walked away.

The real estate agent took them and left and I watched them walk out to the car. The man who opened the bed room door and his wife were laughing and the real estate agent was wiping the sweat from his face as leaned up against the car.

I went back to bed and woke up around one in the afternoon and by that time the girls were gone and the coffee came out. That party was so rockin' the police came several times to quiet it down and then joined the party after their shift was over. That was the most epic party I ever missed.

The Who are an English band formed in 1964 swinging London. Roger Daltrey, Pete Townsend, John Entwistle and Keith Moon who were bad boys of rock being the first to start smashing guitars after a show. "My Generation", "Behind Blue Eyes" and "I Can See For Miles" kept them on the charts and then they wrote and recorded the rock opera movie "Tommy".

They took a break from touring in 1976 and then set about recording and releasing "Who Are You" in 1978 when Keith Moon died shortly after. They resumed recording and released 1981's "Face Dances" then in 1982 they released "It's Hard". The first single issued was the bright and breezy "Athena".

The second release was "Eminence Front" and i charted #68 on the Hot100 but did reach #5 on the US Mainstream Rock charts. Writer Pete Townsend relates that the song was about the delusions of drug use by the wealthy and hedonistic, the lyrics explain that people are wearing masks to hide their inadequacies and problems. In concert, Townsend introduces the song by saying "This song is about what happens when you take too much "white powder", it's called an Eminence Front.

Pete wrote the song around a chord progression he created on his Yamaha organ. "It's clearly about the absurdity of drug fuelled grandiosity, but whether I was pointing the finger at myself or at the cocaine dealers of Miami Beach is hard to recall." Rolling Stone magazine ranked the song as The Who's #10 best song. Critics also praised the "new wave influenced with the classic sound of "Who's Next".
