Bollywood Actress Shilpa Shetty Visits Puri Jagannath Temple With Family

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty visited the sacred Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri and sought blessings of Lord Jagannath amid tight security arrangements. She was warmly welcomed at the Singhadwar by temple administration and her servitor panda.

Shilpa Shetty, accompanied by her mother Sunanda Shetty and family members, offered prayers to the Chaturdha Vigrahas on the Ratna Singhasan and also worshipped Goddess Mahalaxmi. She spent over an hour inside the temple premises and was visibly emotional during the darshan.

Her servitor panda offered Khechudi Bhog to Lord Jagannath during the morning rituals. After darshan, Shilpa expressed that visiting Puri Dham is the most special among the Char Dham pilgrimage and praised the temple administration for their cooperation.

A large crowd gathered near the Singhadwar to catch a glimpse of the actress as she concluded her spiritual visit with chants of “Jai Jagannath.”
