Falling in Love - AMV

I made this video for the AMV contest of a local convention, YuniCon, which I attended with ‪@ArrowAMV‬, ‪@guodan_vsl‬ and ‪@MagicDarkIight‬. This video won "Best Emotion & Drama".

We all made a video for the contest and got to watch eachothers videos for the first time on the event stage (besides Nico's video, which I had already seen). I had not joined a local contest in 7 years and hadn't intended on joining this one, but I happened to come across a song that I really liked and figured might be fun to edit and submit to the convention, since everyone else was editing for it too. In the end my ideas for that video were too ambitious for my simple self and I decided to put that aside (perhaps for a future contest) and ended up making this video instead.
It was fun working with a voiceover and classical music whilst trying to mostly not repeat scenes I have previously used.

The convention was a lot of fun, watching different contests, our AMVs, seeing the Flow concert and going off on crazy anime remix songs. I got to be on stage with Nico for winning our respective categories, which was a special moment too.

My inspiration for this video was of course my favourite AMV from ‪@wz6512‬, "again", without it I would not even have thought about editing an AMV to classical music.
