From egg carton to pre-mixed palette: I store paints in sanitized and reused pasta and pickle jars and needed a way to make my paint portable. Filling cosmetic pots with each paint color and repurposing paper egg cartons as paint palettes worked well, although this little plastic jars were difficult to close. This is definitely not a long-term solution, but it was a fun way to give those egg cartons a second life for a little while.
