Don't let the blood scare you away! This dish is a specialty in the Philippines using the blood of the pig, chicken or cow. Using a delicious mix of onions, garlic and bay leaves, this savory dish goes well with rice or my preference, PUTO or rice cake. KUYA JAKE'S DINUGUAN RECIPE:
1-2lbs. baboy (pork)
2 small tubs of pig's blood
1/2 cup suka (vinegar)
2 tbsp toyo (soy sauce)
1 maliit na sibuyas (small onion)
3 cloves garlic
3 bay leaves
1 upo (bottle gourd)
Paminta (pepper)
Asin (salt)
Magic sarap kung gusto mo
Serve with rice or puto!
