Relax with different sounds of RNV Heidelberg's trams. Compared to other cities, the M8C sounds unique in Heidelberg!
Basically, I notice that the atmosphere is much quieter than in other municipalities due to public transport. This is certainly not only due to the electric buses and Variobahns. It is a special sound experience when you walk in the small streets along the Neckar and can hear the unique sound of the trams from afar.

"....The current fleet of RNV trams in use at the Heidelberg location currently consists of:

2 eight-axle GT8 articulated railcars from Duewag, built in 1975 (only for operational purposes and driving school, one actually a museum car, car numbers 3202 and 3204)

8 eight-axle M8C light rail cars from Duewag, built in 1985 and 1986, converted to M8C-NF, numbers 3251 to 3258

12 six-axle MGT6D low-floor cars from Duewag, built in 1994 and 1995, numbers 3261 to 3272

16 eight-axle Rhein-Neckar-Variobahns from Bombardier, built in 2002 and 2003 (numbers 3273 to 3280 without energy storage), and 2009 and 2010 (numbers 3281 up to 3288 with energy storage)
After their use ended, the last Heidelberg six-axle vehicles were parked in the Ludwigshafen-Rheingönheim depot for a long time, but were handed over or scrapped by January 2019...."
