Homesteaders: Experimental Cassettes, Field Kit and Morphagene

I was recently inspired to utilize my Koma Field Kit and decided to get messy with some cassettes. There are 3 tape decks in play here, 2 have 1 minute loop tapes running with old noise and random stuff, the 3rd had a really old casssette probably from the early 80's with what sounds like a conversation between a man and his grandkids about early 20th century U.S. homesteading and his family history migrating from Nebraska to California in the 1920's. I have piles of old tapes acquired while working in a record store warehouse. Old blanks that would have been thrown in the trash. I randomly popped one in and as soon as I heard that it was some kind of personal recording, I ran it through the morphagene and had a little sesh.. I still haven't listened to the entire thing, this was the first time I heard it here, primarily looking for voices to manipulate in the morphagene. The percussive element is from the field kit motor triggering a solenoid that I threaded onto one of the guitar string antennae on the Crank Sturgeon box, the trigger source comes from the Morcom expander controlled by the Benjolin V2.
I had fun revisiting older methods while also bringing that into the modular set up.
