Why Everyone Is Shooting 1080p Again

A lot of people just stayed with 1080p, but there are many who fell for the 4k trap. The higher resolution is definitely better for some things like wildlife. But for the human face, portraits, portrait vlogs, 1080p is perfection. A lot of people are going back to shooting in 1080p for its soft pleasing image, smaller file sizes, easier to edit files etc. To think companies are shooting for 6k and 8k is a literal joke. Imagine if a camera company made a 2MP 1080p only camera in todays world? Let us dream.
