A direct student of the legendary Ei’ichi Miyazato and a master of Okinawan karate, Chinen Sensei dedicated his life to preserving and sharing the art, philosophy, and spirit of Goju-Ryu with students across the globe. Through decades of teaching, Chinen became a central figure in martial arts communities both locally and internationally, known not only for his skill and strength, but for his humility, wisdom, and deep respect for tradition.
