Shinjuku Gewalt's first full length demo. Before this, they made 1 mini album, 1 single and featured in 2 different omnibuses.

Almost all of the songs are remixes of folk pop, enka, kayokyoku, anisongs, video game OSTs, NHK broadcast songs.

As far as I know the actual cassette tape was only sold (or given) to those at lives during the time this was released and goes for stupidly high on JP auctions... What I'd give to own it...

さよならテント1978年フォークジャンボリー is interesting, it's the only original in the album, so after doing some research out of curiosity, the title is based off "The All Japan Folk Jamboree" which was the first live music festival to take place in Japan. Feels like a way of expressing nostalgia but also taking the piss out of it in a way, the dropping of the guitar and screaming at the end makes me lol.

As for オーパーツ (OOPArt), I can’t find the original song anywhere, it's by Muchi Muchi Anago, the band that Shimizu was in before joining Shinjuku Gewalt. I think it's cute to close off the album with a cheeky title like this.

I cleaned up the cover art myself, no one online has got a good scan.
