How to Stencil | Adding Texture with Chalkpaint

I use chalkpaint and metal leaf to create a unique pattern on a plain piece of furniture. Plaster of Paris creates a raised stencil effect which I scrape off to reveal a bounty of beautiful colors and shimmer, all in the shape of randomly placed designs. It is a faded & jaded, worn-gold tinted piece of furniture that makes me think it belongs in an old school, hippy beach house.
