Doug Pow was announced as the South West’s soil health champion at the Talkin' Soil Health Conference in 2015. Doug’s innovative use of dung beetles and biochar to improve soil has attracted national attention and is initiating several research projects. Now he has also partnered with Warren Catchments Council and South West Catchments Council (SWCC) to improve soil structure in orchards by trialling a technique with his avocados. This video was developed for the Talkin' Soil Health Conference where it was shown to over 100 delegates
